S14a owner from North Yorkshire

Hi all,
Got an S14a, mainly used for track days so far and entered TOTB last year with the SXOC.

Always had an interest in drifting but never the balls to actually do it properly other than the odd back end out in the wet malarky.... BDC at Teeside and Matt from slide Motorsport have inspired me to get off my arse and do something about it...

Currently got the standard vlsd which has done about 120k miles and is no use at all, with some brand new 18inch RSR's that are 255 wide and roughly 270bhp so struggling to break traction too easily without fear of killing my clutch etc in this heat wave were currently experiencing....

Hoping to sort out these issues soon and get myself to Oulton Park in September. Thought some wet track work would get me used to the control side of things and then head for DWYB after that...

Anyways, mite see some of you there, anyone from Skipton/Ilkley way on here and knows anywhere good for practising local??

Heya bud. Might be worth you adding Humberside drift scene on Facebook. They occasionally organise days over in Hull. Maybe abit far for you but thought id let you know anyway.
 
Cheer mate I'll do that, Hull's not too far really so may be able to get over some time... Need as much seat time as possible really!
 
Hi! Yeah I like the Teesside track, did some karting there a couple of weeks ago on the Friday before BDC and looking to do one of their Grip based evenings soon in the sx. Will definitely be venturing up there at some point for a drift session when they have one though...
