I have a new (3 days ago) Samsung Omnia from Vodafone. I charged it and put my SIM card in to have a play, as you do, and that's about it. I have now decided to sell it and use a more robust phone with less features, as mine tends to get oily and dropped a lot, and I only use it for calls, texts and taking pictures as opposed to all the things that the Omnia can do.

It is in the box and as new, complete with software, headphones, USB lead, charger, stylus etc but is cheap because it is still locked to Vodafone and although it only costs a few quid to unlock, it is something I probably wouldn't get around to doing.
The price includes insured recorded delivery or I can knock a tenner off if you pick it up yourself.
