I have setup a large workshop for custom and classic car projects for which I am looking for additional partners to work on projects and help build the business. The workshop is a good space (4,500 square feet) and is already equipped with a ramp, mig/tig welder, plasma cutter, tube bender, 3d scanner and we just recently added a large 3 axis CNC mill for making custom parts.
This could start as a part-time opportunity working around an existing job (evenings/weekends) with a view to developing into a full-time partnership, or could be an opportunity for somebody who wants to start their own business within the financial support of an existing business. I am open to ideas to work with the right partners.
We already have a fabricator/welder and mechatronics specialist and are looking for additional partners who can cover mechanical work, bodyshop, and carbon fibre composite work.
We will be catering for most aspects of custom/performance car builds including custom tube chassis/suspension work, engine development/conversions, body fabrication work (including composites), custom exhaust systems and other general fabrication work. We will also be doing classic car restoration work.
We are based in Hungerford (2 mins off M4 J14) and have some ambitious plans for the future so it would be good to hear from anybody with relevant experience in any of the areas above who may be interested in discussing further. I am open to ideas about how this could work.
