I know quite a few on this forum have owned these in the past.

A friend of mine some of you may know has decided he has to buy a house now and grow up and is reluctantly thinking of selling his massively modified Pulsar up for grabs. I dont know the exact spec, if you pm me for details i can put you in contact with him.

Basically its a wide arched, lightened shell with full monster spec cage, custom rear turrets, fully stripped out racer. Its got a pair of cobra bucket seats harnesses and so on in the front, I doubt it has a radio as it was meant to be as light as possible so it could be as quick as poss, but you can check with Jamie if you feel that is vital !!

Its running a rebuilt but im not sure if its forged engine, with lots of work, and a HKS GT2835R turbo making over 400bhp from memory, its running a seriously uprated gearbox as I know it used to break them before but this ones handled the power fine, and I last saw it on black Compo's/Dymags but Im not sure if its still got them. The car is Candy Apple red and is truly quick for what are normally such podgey little cars. It had a full write up in I think Junes issue of Banzai if any of you have it - feel free to post up more spec, cheers.

He wants £6k and frankly I'd rip his arm off for it if i had the cash as he's poured so much time, money and love into this car its insane. He works for GBH Motorsport and all of it has been done by him or the guys over the years, in fact its only been up and running again for about 6 months having taken so much of his time to build, which is the biggest shame.

Get him to post it up on both of the owners club forums, i'm sure it wouldn't hang around for long there. Alternatively, if he wants to break it i would be interested in a few bits lol.

Its his absolute pride and joy, but I guess you reach a point where a house takes a priority unless you are lucky enough to be able to have both. And mechanics aren't exactly renowned for getting high wages !!

If he sells bits off it he'll never be able to afford to replace them until a couple of years later and its been a couple of years getting it to this spec in the first place !! Funny thing is he used to have a good job which paid well, but he loved this car so much he became a mechanic and took an enormous pay drop and but with the bonus he could work on and learn on his car at the same time, and now as its finished he has to sell it - tragedy in my eyes, but thats life sometimes.

Come on people, we all agree its a bargain, lets get Jamie a good price from somewhere so he can have a good xmas house hunting.
