SEXY AE86... so who's gonna get this then?

I'm in the market place for a new car (it's a sore subject) and was browsing through D-C-Y's stock, when I came accross this little lovely...

Now those of you that know me, know that I'm not typically a fan of these bad-ass Corollas, but this one really tickled me. I suspect it won't be hanging around their forecourt for long, and I really hope it goes to a loving, yet thrashing home, that will smoke it up good on track!

...And whoever does buy it, I want a ride!

AE86?? whats so good bout them? - SXOC Bulletin Board

i think the reason why they sell for so much is because the seller knows he can. if you get me. They know some people the 1s that dont know much about the sport will pay that money. Right the guys on here that have had an 86 since the drift scene started to grow in the uk

"how much was yours when you got it, an how was the import market for that car at that time"????

paid £4200 for mine

decent spec on it, paid under market value for it i think

but it was not regsitered at the time, bought on 16/01/2006

but mne was not bought for the drift scene, or because of intital D. bought becaus ei had wanted one for a long time

i found out about the initial d cartoon when the first need4speed underground came out because of my japanese friend. He was always goin on about the corolla at that time i was like yeh yeh waht ever. Id liked drifting way before then but because it wasnt real popular i didnt know much or see much. I got an 86 simply because a grew to like it from seeing them often on here and reading all the project threads. dont burn me for this but b4 finding the light (drifting) i was gona get a scooby because i like the sound of a there turbo boxer engine. But i found N/A and i just have a general like for the 86 and am im not in for the cult following!
