The big turbo is going away. Saving up for a hx40super or hx40.
New diff with 3.9 ratio compared to the old 2.4 is ordered.
The engine mounts is getting a redo in thicker mounting plate (5mm) and different angle
The steering rack is now working like when it was in the lexus. I had missed some detail which in return booted the rack into safe mode. But after this weekend it finally talks back to me and fires right up into normal assist. I will be able to choose the amount of assist soon and then later it's possible to controll it from abs sensor or gearbox. That means dynamic eps
However I've haven't tried drift it in wet track yet.
But I hope it will perform close enough to a hyudralic.
And yes I might be comming to gatebil in September
The new turbo is in, made me realise how beautifull my old valve covers and this battle stained engine room is hehe But.. will a touch-up make the car faster?.. nope so I'll rather spend it on seat time for this year
Also I managed to source an gs350 differential with 3.727 ratio, welded it and its time to mount it, finally some burnouts and maybe not like 160 km/h in 2nd gear anymore
The differential bolted nicely to the chassi. How ever the companion flange was a different story.
Swaped it over from the old diesel differential and now good to go.
The differential i used was a 3.727 awd auto differential from a GS350. and the flange from the is220d differential.
SHe is pretty happy! She is just leaking pretty much exhaust from the t3 flange, So it needs a little love before tuning. ANyway the new differential gave the car a whole new feel. its almost as easy to manouver as my daily now.. so 2. something gearing changed to 3.7 something is a pretty big step
