They will be Jumping in and out of your cars to give you all the best advice a professional could give and all for FREE. WHAT TO BRING

    Although everyone that comes along is friendly and happy to help out, we'd recommend that everyone brings their own tools;
    Jack, Wheel Brace, Socket Set, Screwdrivers, Hammer etc - Cable Ties and Duct Tape are highly recommended for running repairs! You may also want to bring some oil, a decent container of water (there are taps on site) any anything else you think will be useful.
    Your friends! Drifting is more fun if you can enjoy if with your mates... Share the jobs of changing wheels and have fun on track!

    RULES

    A full briefing is given at the start of each day, the basics;
    Helmets MUST be worn at all times on track (including the play pens) - you must bring your own helmets, SkidRisk do not supply.
    Drivers and Passengers must be wearing the correct wristband before going on track. SkidRisk reserve the right to refuse entry and eject anyone from the premises that does not adhere to this rule.
    Seatbelts must be worn and windows closed to within a fist width gap.
    Any loose or sharp panels must be repaired or removed prior to going on track.
    SkidRisk operate a 2 warning system for anyone that disobeys the marshals, drives dangerously on track/on site or causes any issues for anyone else on site. If you receive a second warning you will be going home early with no refund. This is for minor rule breaking, anyone acting a down and out idiot will just be instantly banned
    So the instant ban rule breaking consists of, acting an idiot on the play pen, not wearing a helmet on the playpen, trying to get away with not paying, tampering with wristbands, speeding around the venue and lastly wheel spinning in the pits as this leads to cars being damaged from the stones being thrown up
    Respect us and we will respect you!

Heard couple people say he was charging a lot more than usual. Can't remember how much exactly nor can I personally vouch for prices being more to be honest. Would like to know for definite either way before booking on, but haven't got contact details for him nor do I use Facebook. Any way someone could clear it up?

There is a pretty good sized area were you can practice. As a noobie myself I can say it's brilliant. You're free to make a tit out of yourself as much as you like and there's always people around willing to help out if your unsure. Later on in the day you can pretty much have it to yourself as most people are on the main track too. If you want to take your car on the main track though bare in mind the walls are pretty unforgiving!

+1 for unforgiving walls.......

The Tyre Changing charges are in the first post. Mint Tyres was not at the Skid Risk in July, C&J Tyres covered it as Mint Tyres was booked in for Japshow at Santa Pod. So to clarify, Changes are £5 per wheel and disposal is £1 per tyre. (Has been since Mint Tyres started doing Skid Risk) Tyres supplied by Mint Tyres are free if your paying for the fitting, first come first served unless pre ordered, or to take tyres away is £2.50 per tyre.
Hope that clears it up!!

Exactly what I wanted to know!! Cheers dude! Always had top service from mint tyres before so was surprised to hear what I did last time

its Stocks not Stock :)
is there a proper layout in the play pens?

Playpens usually consist of two cones about 2 car lengths apart so you have choice of donuts or fig8s. One car at a time, but usually plenty of seat time to get a feel for beginners.
