The car has not been used in the last 6 months as haven’t wanted to take it out in the winter, speedo is reading 132k which is a mix of k’s and miles and has had an engine change ( before I purchased the car)

Has been very well looked after in my ownership including all fluids replaced and the metal gasket fitted always warmed up and cooled down. This is a reliable car and was used as a daily in summer. Bad points: the vinyl wrap has split on a few stress points on the front and also missing the front splitter, headlights need a relay fitting as connections are starting to burn out, front ride height needs adjusting after tyre swap.

Please call or text 07456974129 for any information or more pictures.

Does this have a cat in it? Or will it come with one for MOT / other version of the MOT? I'm in the Isle of Man and thats the only thing putting me off. Would it sail through an MOT or some advisories?

EDIT - what colour under the wrap?!

You can get a sports cat from Japspeed for about £130, works great, got one on mine for the MOT, sailed through.

Nice 4 door BTW

i,
UK registered cars on H, J & K registrations - 1st August 92 to 31st July 1995 are only subject to a Cat test if there is an exact match in the Cat emissions database. From 1st August 1995 onwards all cars are subject to a Cat test.

The MOT regs require the presence of a Cat where it was fitted as standard, but only where the emissions test would lead to a FULL Catalyst test.

As the car stands it's not running a cat. Car passed with ease last year but with an advisory or a rear left wheel bearing. The car has only done a couple of hundred miles since this test. Also the head light switch is burning out/ tripping when I last Had a looK. There are a couple of redundant switches in the dash which I would plumb the headlights to.

Colour underneath is Matt olive green ( not done by me) original colour is gun metal grey.

Thanks DoriDave I like it, be sad to see her go.

I'm not in England so the rules differ slightly for the Isle of Man, much like I imagine they do for Ireland. Thanks for the reply, I will have to pass as it's not original under the wrap either.

i put the engine in this car, under the wrap is nato green, the engine came out of a low km car, about 80k if remember correctly
