Carpe Diem
Supra 3.0
I've come to a crossroads, it's dawned on me that to get this car ready for the '06 opt Drift championship I'm gonna have to pour far too much money into this thing to get it the way I want (though I am bloody picky and punch far too much above my weight)...
The car spec (if you can call it that) goes like this:
Metallic Grey J plate S13 121000 miles
Small dents on the:
passenger door
passenger side front wing
passenger side rear wing
The tail gate is the usual nissan swiss cheese and has been de-wipered and de spoilered but needs more work to finish. Apart from needing a new bumper and drivers side headlight cover thats it.
Mechanically it's pretty sound apart from a really annoying ticking sound coming from the back of the manifold (traced to a missing bolt) and the air con not working.
The interior is stock apart from a boost gauge and some JBL front speakers and a splash of gunmetal grey paint on the boost gauge pod and ashtray (I got bored one day).
I won't lie, I don't think I have the patience to sort all the problems but I think someone with some patience and more knowledge than me could have themselves a half decent drift car for about 1.5k and that includes buying the thing and sorting all the problems.
I'm just trying to gauge what peoples opinions are and get an idea how much I could get for it, it would make a pretty good spare car as the turbo is sound and holds boost well and the engine is sound (except that bloody ticking).
Cheers guys, I'll try and get a few pics up later.
