Well, turns out my engine had snapped a cam! Errrr..... why do I have such luck?? I never over-revved the engine enough to spit a shim out or anything, it had an 8100 limiter for a while but the top end is fine with that. What a load of testicles.

Dunno why this crappy luck happens to me, but hey, at least I killed it properly. haha

New engine, courtesy of the Smithinator, is going in tomorrow night, was supposed to be today but ran out of daylight. Will fire it up once again tomorrow too, can't wait. :smokin:

did you apply anti-cam snapping paste when we cleaned the head with toothbrushes that time? everyone knows with out anticam snapping paste, the cam will snap. remeber for next time.

Dunno what else is dead yet, gotta whip the head off, but first priority is getting it all up and running for D1 if I can. Hopefully will mission on it after work tomorrow.
