Soarer Coilovers

Hi ,
Do you have and Soarer Coilovers in stock to suit my V8, so that If I order first thing next Wednesday I could have them on Thursday?

Also I mainly intend to use the car for circuit racing so are the supplied spring rates suitable to start off with?

Hi Richard, I believe we have them in stock, but someone will confirm with you on Monday morning.
Yes that's fine, if ordered Wednesday morning they will be sent out that day on a 1 day service.

Hi Kam,
No its a V8 so its a UZZ31, which is the same as a UZZ30 except mine left the factory with the TEMS electronic suspension which I am obviously binning to fit the coilovers. All mounting points etc are the same though.
Is there anything else you need to know from the car?

As much as is possible. It's not our Guarantee, it's our courier DPD's, but we have had no known late arrivals due to Christmas, and the theory is that courier traffic eases up a little towards the end of this week too.

Thats excellent, I would never hold you to it 100% but I have to say yours is the best service I have ever had delivery wise as I am in the middle of rural essex and most couriers give up this time of year.Its compounded by the fact that I really need them before as I am going away Friday , but cant order until wednesday for various reasons. Its going to be a hectic week.

Just back to my original question though. I know these are great quality units but are the spring rates supplied geared for circuits, drifting or road use?
Also on these units are the top plates adjustable for camber etc or just fixed. Sorry about the questions , but I know they vary depending on cars / fitments etc.

The rates are 18/10 so suited to track use for most people, especially if you have stripped the car out and lost a bit of weight. They still remain compliant and non-crashy thanks the the quality HSD dampers.

We can always sort out different rates for you if you are un-happy, but combined with the adjustable damping I'm sure you'll be fine :)

They have double-wishbone suspension, so camber adjustment is done via the suspension arms.
Not top mounts like macpherson strut cars :)

Yes the car is fully stripped out , although a fair bit will go in with the weld in cage. That said a lot has been lost by junking a lot of stuff from the engine comp and boot as well so it will be interesting to see. I also have some new adjustable wishbones to fit so it all looks good. There isnt another circuit racing V8 that I know of at the moment so it makes it a bit difficult to benchmark anything!

I expect :dw: will answer but if you look on the shop pages the Soarer JZZor Uzz are £775 basic with the above mentioned spring rates for the V8 .

I will start off with those and see how the car handles on the first test day in March and go from there. :thumbs:
I am used to 1 make series where the factory usually decides what you have to work with so its a case of test and see.

Ive just seen that if I had waited a day I would have got 10 percent discount. On 900 quid I am gutted. I know you are a business but I had assumed that there wouldnt be any after the request thread that Phil closed earlier.

And the chew was smaller than the last one I had.

Bahhh humbug !
