i brought a solid coloum bush from you guys and had it sent to my home, posty came when i was out for like 5 minites :mad: i swear to god the fucker was watching the house and waiting for me to leave :wack:

anywho, there is a 5 billion mile que at the post office to get it from there and theres noway im going to be able to wait there and pick it up so im gessing it will be sent back to you guys after a certain amount of time?

my question is this! can i just wait for them to send it back to you and pay the postage again when i know im going to be in work and have it sent there?

like i said, im a pain in the arse :)

postoffice will hold it for about 3 weeks befor its sent back to sender...
best just get some one to go and get it for you
 
theres noone thats will be about :( there only mrs and there noway im even going to ask her to stand in the freezing cold with our 4 month old little girl. i would much rather wait and pay the extra postage, it does suck but i can also hold off fitting the engine for a couple of weeks to make life alittle easier
 
rearrange the delivery at your discretion the post office do this it should be on the form that was left for you saying they had missed you along with a phone number to reorganise delivery.
 
no :( they said they cant keep it over a week and it was sent on the 1st of decemeber. im gessing you should have it back or will do soon?

is it ok to pay the postage again and have it sent out when you recieve it from the postie?
 
it's only 17 quid. just buy another one and get DW to refund the first when it eventually arrives back at HQ.
 
We don't have anything back, but when we do I'll get in contact and we can send it out again :)
 
what you can do in future, and what i have done in the past is leave a note on the door or in an envalope labled post man, and ask him to leave it somewhere/ neighbours house/ coal bunker or somewhere where you cant see at the back of the house etc, and sign it, this is enough to let them leave it somewhere.

ive done this with a few things when i couldnt get off work and expecting a delivery. hope thats an idea any way

its a good idea dude, but if i stuck a envalope on the door, the chances are one of the in breeders will steal it, they would'nt know were the goods are as they cant read though so good plan :)
