Hey guys,
I'm working on an app and website which will allow you to plan routes and navigate like google maps/waze etc. but with the ability to avoid roads with speedbumps and possibly other obstacles which is currently not possible in any other navigation app. You will be able to submit speedbumps with a level of severity and have the option to ignore areas/speedbumps of a specific severity.
It's early days at the moment, so I would be looking at more features in the future, but this is the general idea.
I'd appreciate anyone's opinions or just an honest vote in the poll if you have the time!
Thanks

That’s a great idea!
I had to call a restaurant I’m going to later to ask about this very issue!
Well worth looking into

its a great idea ,
I normally refuse to let the speed bumps win, in my local area some alternative routes will add several miles to a normally small journey.
I take plants of wood out and slow down all the local traffic to a standstill while I manouver over them.

this would still be a great app to use if your driving in an area you are unfamiliar with. when using planks is not practical!

I'd be interested. It's ideal for when you may want to visit somewhere new. I've come across speed bumps unexpectedly and had to slam on the brakes, then after the second one there's a queue of irate drivers behind you watching you come to an almost dead stop to negotiate mount everest in a car that scrapes on even bits of grit on the road (exaggerating)

Cheers guys! Sounds like there may be some interest.

Sounds like a great idea!
What's your tech stack? I'm a web developer and would be happy to help if possible!
I'm using React, Express, Postgres and the Here maps API. Cheers, I'll let you know if I need another set of hands :)

Hi John, I’m very interested in this app and actually something I have been thinking about working on myself for quite some time. Would you be interested in having a chat about it privately? Steveburney@aol.com
