Spin Turn Knobs

Barky

Team Triad
I have got some more of these spin turn knobs made,
15 off Nissan S13/S14 push over button type
4 off Toyota screw in type

Prices are £11.50 delivered in UK

PM if you want one.

Only thing I suggest is, if its a push in type like the Nissan ones, measure the handbrake button diameter and let us know what size it is and we can take it from there.

Mark one down for me please sire... you at Silverstone this Sat?

Just got mine yesterday after missing the postie twice, they are indeed good quality  Cheers Barky

stupid question.... how do they work? i dont see how that plug can lock the handbrake latch open. am i missing something?

Instruction sheet is included with the knob - it explains how it works, basically you bend the tabs that hold the spring flush with the handle, then fit the knob over the button. This means when the button is pressed, it stays in  Handbrake will only lock on again if the button is pushed back out. Instructions are very clear and have diagrams :)

When installing one, you release the spring in the handbrake that keeps the button held out and engages the ratchet in the mechanism. Once this is don the handbrake will no longer stay up as the ratchet doesn't engage.
The knob is there to allow you to engage the ratchet by pushing the knob out with a thumb when pulling the handbake up should you wish to use it to hold the car whilst parked. Without it there would be no way of locking the handbrake on any more. It just pushes onto the button.

Edit: bugger...sambo beat me to it :o
