SR20 S13 Idling Issues

Right, just put an SR in my s13 200sx, went to have a play with the car last night trying to get it to idle and run right but it was running like shit. It starts fist time then barely ticks over (sounds like a v8) then after about 10 seconds or if you touch the throttle by a millimetre it revs like crazy. Anyone have any ideas? one thing i did notice is that for some reason my TPS is an auto one with 2 plugs and 6 wires, i have bought a manual single plug but not sure if that will fix it. Could it also be the idle air control valve? some people have some problems with this, but im yet to try adjust it? If anyone could help it would be greatly appriciated.

could be the idle control valve, try puting on a/c if you have this function. But it most likely is the TPS if it is not the correct one i would think. they play havoc with idle if they have issues

Yes mate this was my thinking, thank you for the help. I have ordered a whole manual throttle body so hopefully this will sort it
