i was driving the beast today and was wondering why the hell it is so loud and bloody larery ..... take a look at the engine looks standard but it is wayyyyy to loud and very fast...its pissing me off as engines are not my forte and i dont wana give it to some garage to open up the head only to say you got uprated cams...now give me £50....
if anyone is in the soton area and would like to lend a hand and knows a bit about sr20det

also sounds like there is a blow off valve but i cant find one!!!!!
and it spits mad flames when the bee r is on!!!

So your car is loud, fast and spits flames?

Whats the problem?



Hard to tell from the pic but it looks like the stock BOV has been relocated to just behind the passenger suspension turret. Its normally in the passenger wing with the IC.
 
totally not helpful reply- but have you removed a spacer at the back, or raised the suspension or something? doesn't look right?

right i see i was wondering what that was, it is just loose back there :thumbs:

a bit too loud an fast from what looks like a standard engine...as if im complaining :cool:
