Sr20det lean idle

Hey. Replaced my headgasket and on startup the car is running lean and struggles to get the rpms up due to missfire. Have pressure tested the hole engine and fixed all the leaks. But, if i rotate the cas away from 15° btdc i runs alot better. So is it possible that i have installed the cas incorrectly?
Also had a backfire through the intake so thats why im thinking timing

Compression was 150 psi on all cylinders and fuel pressure set to 3 bar

Yea sounds like the timing is out, probs need to take the chain off and line it all back up.
Dont think the chain is misaligned, had the engine ind tdc and marked the chain when i took the cams out, and put it back together the same way. But will check it once more. But is it possible that the cas is put in wrong?

I'd bet the chain is a tooth out
Marks on the chain still lines up exactly the way they was when i pulled the head

and the crank?

If that's good then yea, CAS is the next thing to look at.
Have now set the crank in tdc, piston was all the way up, cam marks and everything line up, pulled pit the cas and set it in correctly. Went to start it, same thing. Lean idle and falls on its face when i go to rev it. Im lost
