PLEASE READ:
Will has owned the car since November and its covered about 80 miles in that time. The important thing to note is he bought it with an running fault and unfortunately is also selling it with that same running fault. - The diagnosis... We simply do not know. The guy he picked it up from seemed very vague about the actual problem. It's most likely a engine idle valve that has gone going from diagnostics but Will has completely lost interest in fixing it and wants something that just works. (cant blame him) We do know that the car had a engine rebuild at 52,000 miles - the engine is now sitting at 56,000 miles.
The car runs, but sometimes struggles under load on acceleration. Sometimes you'll be thrown back into the seat and it'll thrust you along like a rocket, other times you'll pull away and the car switches to "limp home mode" and as a safety feature will not rev over 3000rpm - meaning you have to switch off and on again to clear it.
Other jobs on the list for it are Wheel bearing (slightly wuring at speed), very minor blow from middle section of exhaust.
Probably the most honest advert ever, nothing more to hide and I want you to know what you're buying.
Perfect car for a subaru enthusiast, or someone with an eye for typical faults.
Bargain price at £1400 open to offers.
Questions? post them here, drop me a PM, or even better give Will an email or text on 07894 135 437.
