Super gangster twin exit N1 Style exhausts!!

Bon Bon

It'll be fine
Right, we've got a couple of sample N1 style cat back exhaust systems in, for S13 and S14.

We want a couple of people to give them a good test for us, provide some feedback on what they think of the quality etc.

They'll be retailing at £295 a peice, but for one S13 owner and one S14 owner willing to do a GOOD test and provide some GOOD feedback for us, we'll do them for £200 a peice. One time offer only, if we stock them then they'll be £295 for all future orders.

We love them, they're badass and I'm sure will sound the titties, but the hangers on the backbox aren't particularly posh in the way they're attached, so we just want to see them on a car, working with happy owners before we stock them.

Any takers??

Thinking about it, what would you guys wnat to know and how soon would you want to know it?

I'm interested for sure.

Well basically we want to know that the quality and fit is up to the job, we're a little worried that the rear exhaust hangers might vibrate a little or something and before we go charging full price we just want someone to give us thumbs up or thumbs down.

I know I'd be happy putting one on my own car, but I'm not the most fussy of people. :)

Kieran, it is the full cat back system, obviously then you buy the relevant decats, frontpipes, etc depending on what engine/exhaust configuration you've got. :)

This wont fit with my bumper will it:cry: So what happens it they do brake and fall apart? do we get money back or a new system?
Intrested, this could look badass if i do a bit of tweeking to the bumper and tail pipes!:smokin:

What OD are the tail pipes and do the do it with out the centre boxs or is that some more tweeking i may have to do!:D

All we're concerned about really is the durability of the hangers on the rear boxes, if someone like yourself or H (for example) tests these for us at 200 quid a pop, if a hanger breaks, it'll take you a few minutes to repair it with a welder and off you go still happy. That's the understanding it's on for these 2 at that special price. Test them out, if they're all good then we can comfortably retail them, otherwise we'll get them redesigned with stronger hangers and will just have to charge a little extra.

Oh and they're twin 90mm O/D tailpipes, and we'll just be selling them like this with the silencer, I'm sure they'll be plenty loud as the twin systems tend to be more angry sounding anyway. :wack:

Im so having one of these for my birthday in 3 weeks.. You have made me a happy man Bon :)

Wanted one of these for ages now :)

If they are the same as the XS power ones (like they look) I had a few issues with my S13 one.
I hung really low around the centre box, and I mean hardly get off the drive and scrape on everything low. It hung on the piss around the centre box because of the weight of the silencer and the fact that the central hanging bracket is so far offset to the side.

To remedy the problem I had to fabricate an extra hanger that bolts on in the middle of the flange, and another that goes to the top of the subframe where the handbrake cable attaches and put a normal exhaust rubber between them.
This made it hang alot squarer than it was, but it still a bit pissed when you look at the tail pipes. I'm going to try some different sized rubbers, or bend the hangers abit to try to level it some time, but i'm not overly fussed.

Also, with the standard bumper the tail pipes were ok, but with an aftermarket bumper they came up short, so I had to make some extension trims to fit to the tail pipes and extend them by about 50mm to make them stick out past the edge of the bumper.

I can take some pictures if you want
