Suspension Help Please

I need to get the suspension set up on a 525i, Does anyone know which manufacturers make the hardest springs, I think I read on this forum that Spax kits are very stiff but counldn't find the post.
Also does anyone think it would be an idea to but stiff springs from one manufacturer at the back, and possibly softer ones from another at the front.

What age of 525i have you got?

On my E28 (1987) 528i I've got Spax and it is stiff, I could do with slightly stiffer springs but the dampers are top notch.

How much are you looking to spend?

Yeah its a E28 like yours BonBon.
I am prepaired to spend anything upto a grand on the suspension (including ARB's, bushes, strut top mounts etc.) I think the spax adjustable damper and spring kits are about £350-400 so could go for stiffer springs, but can't find many companys doing suspension stuff for E28's
