KK, got a lovely 180sx.. though havent really posted it on here before... i want to keep it and 99% will.. BUT if anybody would be up for swapping one of the following cars for it, i will consider a change over!

Looking for (and has to be in good condition with no silly miles):

Subaru impreza wagon turbo

70's / early 80's toyota/nissan with a decent amount of grunt - inline 6 etc

My car is a fabby motor, its a 180sx type-S in what looks like midnight purple, it is an s13 with not one single spec of rust anywhere! has the 2.0 16v auto drive/tranny, defo quick enough and the auto box is great with overdrive

Not pictured are the impul 701's and tein superdrift coilovers which will be fitted next week...

has mot and tax (i cant remember how much) is currently insured, drives perfect (managed a 777 mile one-way trip with no stops absolutely perfectly) and has 68k km's ... speedo converted to mph aswell

Dave, have you sorted all the crap that was wrong on the bodywork? You havent posted pics of the faults on the car - hardly a true representation and seeing as you live in the back of beyond, I wouldnt like to make that trip to see it in the flesh and be dissapointed! :wack:

I didn't know it was NA from the description, and I'm a K1 Superstar

I am more intruiged by the size of the fuel tank, as you say you managed 777miles with no stops

sorry, normally people would mention if it was a turbo if the cars a turbo...

its not a 2.0 turbo, as far as the bodywork it has the following

front bumper has some scrubbing along the bottom and one bit of laquer peel

on the driver side rear quarter theres a small dent/creae behind the petrol filler cap, its only small and not really noticable in the flesh!

the back bumper has a 50p sized chip of paint missing.... otherwize the body is immaculate

I dont have pictures available though to post up, i can take some on friday when i go home if it helps :)

thats "all the crap" thats wrong with it, its 100% rust free, sills and underbody are perfect, and your talking very very minimal cost to repair the little bits mentioned above to make it truly A1... the interior is in perfect nick too.

and sorry there was 1 stop, it does 430 miles to the tank :) (about 40-45 pounds)

like ive said, right now its not for sale unless i get a silly offer  ... ill swap an impreza or nice retro car, or i keep  ... im not making the same mistake i did with my SIR and getting greedy, i know its a good car and i wont get another s13 body in this condition again.

The only downside for me with this car is the running costs (insurance)

silly offer

N/A auto FTW. I'd say its worth about 1k on here as its basically a tidy shell in a nice colour with koukis. Nobody gives 2 fucks for slushbox and SR20DE is for primeras.

You might have more luck on the open market, i.e. not drift people.

true in a way, but sr20de manual would be a different story! tuned sr20de's are very popular over in japan especially in the drifting circuit.. You can get alot of mods for them relatively cheaply aswell, cams and ECU for 600 quid, ITB's for 700...

Its also not just a clean shell with koukis, it has kouki spoiler, jdm rear bumper, kouki (type X) front bumper, kouki front wide spats, s14 spec suspension (as far as i can gather, its not the same as stock s13 suspension you get over here) 180sx seats, 180sx wheels, digital climate control, grey 180sx dials with white backlighting (in mph), kouki sideskirts....

pricing all these bits individually would net well over the 2k mark alone  most people here atleast know someone who could do a sr20det swap on the cheap too..

It's still not worth much dude unless it's SR20DET manual.... regardless of posh lights etc.

Ebay it, more likely that some fanboy will buy it then thinking it's the ultimate drifter.

might have to :(

insurance is a bit harsh at 1500 a year 3rd party.. a supra turbo would cost me 700 a year fully comp!

I cant use dayinsure either with it being an import

I dont know why its so much to insure,

Specialist import insurers would rate it in comparison to a Supra Turbo and give you an equal or lower price.

As to the value of it - well add in 700quid for an SR20DET, then add another 300quid for a manual box, then allow for the wiring, ecu, fitting and hassle (say around a grand) - and you suddenly need to think that you car needs another 2k spent on it to make it into what most people would consider to be a "standard" 180sx, which are available on here all the time for between 3 and 4 grand with a few mods, so I guess your car is worth 1k to 1300 at most fella.

Its a nice colour and if the shell is as mint as you say then maybe someone with a highly modded one might buy it if they wrap theirs up and swap all the bits over, but thats about the only sale you'll get on here.
