Wanted Swapping Renault Clio 172 Cup for drift car

Hi there! I have a 2003 Renault Clio 172 Cup currently which I've used on the track a couple of times but have grown bored with. It corners very well but the straight line speed is not what I'm used to (having previously owned an s13 and a GSX-R 750).

I bought it in December 2012 and since then have MOT'd and taxed it, serviced it and put new Black Diamond discs and pads on it, along with braided hoses. It's probably due another service right now, but is running well except that the shocks are set too low and it's started rubbing on the arches. It was doing this on my last track day and didn't seem to cause any problems, but it is quite an unpleasant noise and you will notice it when cornering hard. I believe that the shocks and springs are new as of last year.

I'm after something either V8 or turbo charged, rust free and running smoothly with MOT and tax. I don't mind if it's a hard ride or noisy, but it must be reliable and fast. My Nissan 200sx s13 has rusted to the point where it's now being broken, but if you have a rust free s13 then that's the kind of thing I'm looking for. A Supra, MR2 or Skyline could also be good...really anything which moves well in a straight line and will get the tail out if I feel so inclined.

I'm based in Norwich, Norfolk, and estimate the 172 to be worth in the region of £2000. It's just rolled over the 100k miles mark.

Cheers,

Oliver.
