After much deliberation and calculating of costs, it is simply not viable to import my car to my new home in California. Therefore it is with great regret that I am going to have to sell my drift car. Unfortunately due to time restraints and the need to sell my UK based items to fund my move to the USA, this car will be for sale as a whole for about 10 days. After that, it is going to be broken into pieces and sold bit by bit. Very sad :(

I really do want this car to be sold as a whole, not because i'll make more money (which I won't, breaking it is more cost effective) but we (APT and Team D:MON) have spent a lot of time getting this car setup correctly. Sadly, just as I was finally getting to grips with the car and the setup, I left the country and moved to California. Steve Dunn however has been competing in it for the past few months winning one event and clearly showing the ability of the car.

I am also going to put the car on ebay with a reserve of £5,000. As most people know when modify cars as specific as this, over double that amount has actually gone into the PARTS of the car. Please note, I was fully sponsored for most of the labour on this car. So thats over 10k of bits on it (and yes, the engine did take a good chunk...) So if you want the car now it's 5,000 GBP.

This car has, simply because I wrote for the magazine, been featured in Banzai a lot of times. It had a 5 page, with front cover, article one month. I can provide a copy of the magazine with the car if you wish.

Videos of the car in action can be found here;

The spec is as follows;
Engine:
Omex 600 Engine Management system mapped by AP Tuning.
This is a very advanced ECU with many features such as Programmable load and speed sites, Turbo wastegate control, Turbo anti-lag system, Variable cam control, Full throttle gearchange, Intercooler water spray control, Nitrous ignition retard and fuel enrichment, more information can be found here
http://www.omextechnology.co.uk/Ecus/600/ECU.htm

This engine has never been dyno'd because we never had time. It easily over 300bhp and the turbo is rated to a max of 350bhp, so it's somewhere in between :)

Race spec CA18DET balanced bottom end and head by a very reputable engineering shop. This is a very solid CA18DET (heh yes, they do exist!)
Wiesco pistons on standard balanced rods
Lightened standard flywheel with Exedy paddle clutch and cover
GT28RS Disco Potato turbo attached to tubular manifold and custom downpipe leading to Blitz Nur Spec exhaust. This also comes with a competition silencer which reduces noise levels by 20dB when combined with the Blitz exhaust bung!
Greddy FMIC
Koyo race spec radiator
Greddy Profec Type S boost controller
Nismo engine and gearbox mounts

Chassis:
Tein HE coilovers
Tein tie rods
Tein tension rods
Uprated and adjustable camber arms
Powerflex bushes all around
Whiteline anti roll bars
Cusco 2-way MZ differential
Z32 front calipers with uprated pads and large 310mm discs
Rear brake setup from an R32 Skyline

4 x Buddy Club P1 17 inch wheels (Front = 17x8J Rear = 17x9J)

Exterior:
JDM 180SX Sideskirts and rear bumper and resprayed black and pink! Note one of the sideskirts has been damaged and a piece is missing. The missing piece is with the car, it just needs some simple fabrication.

Interior:
Corbeau Targa passenger seat and Corbeau Sprint driver’s seat
Defi gauges (EGT, Oil temp, Oil pressure, Water temp, Boost)
Luke 4 point drivers harness for the driver

So, one car for sale, it's pink and black, has lots of dints and scrapes. The MOT is a week from running out (another reason to just break it up) and the TAX is almost finished. Steve Dunn who currently looks after the car says it will need a fair bit of welding to the chassis underneath as well. Those seriously interested can arrange a visit and i'll try and get pics of any unhappy bits if you wish.

Good luck with the sale Simon fingers crossed its sold as a whole.

Thanks man, i'm really unhappy to sell the car in the first place... but to have to break it will be a real shame.

Very nicely setup car these days
Good luck with the sale  hope someone has it as one big pink entity rather than having to take it all to bits, which would suck on a number of levels

I'll post here aswell as SXOC, to see if the interest is there :)

I would happily part with £20 for a ticket to win this car in a raffle.

All you need is 249 other people to do so and you've got the car sold.

£20 for a 1 in 250 chance of winning.

If not I really hope someone buys this to drift, and not to part out and make money.

Good luck, and dibs on Ticket number 13 please :D

Best. Car. Ever.

I've been driving this at a few events recently, and it's honestly the best driftcar i've ever been in.

The throttle response is insane. It feels like a tuned N/A car, there's no lag at all.

As for the driftability, well, it's rare in the fact that when pitching the car into a blind 3rd gear corner at Snetterton, instead of thinking "shhhhhhhhiiiiiiiiiiiit" like any sane person would, i was thinking "fuck yeah, come on baby let's go". That's the confidence this car gives you. It WILL make it around the corner, it WILL do it in a big smokey cloud of tyre smoke and it WILL want to do it again and again! It's really that good, that you don't have to worry about what the cars doing, you spend your time working out where YOU want to go next.

As for the attention it gets just driving it around the roads, wow.. Everyone looks, everyone loves it. You'd expect some big hairy bloke would find it nasty and shout at you and call you names, but no. Even the biggest hairiest bloke will smile and give you the thumbs up. Plus the women love it ;):D

I was a gnats ballhair away from selling my fleet and buying this. What stopped me is the fact that if I sold my fleet it would be to pay off my huge debts :(

Please someone take this and put it to good use. I think i'm going to be as sad as Simon when it leaves :(

I wish i had the cash for the engine/ECU/turbo, I love the response of this thing. Its just amazing. The most responsive S Body Ive been in - PERIOD!

If you want out and out - almost N/A reponse - rather than massive power, then this is the car for you.

Thanks for the kinds comments chaps...

Really nice car mate I remember reading about it in banzai, but now your moving on to pasteurs new i suppose.
Good luck with the green gard application

If I had the cash this really would be cruising round westonzoyland next week.

I can only manage £3000 and a packet of Cheesy Cheddars so if you decide to break, first dibs on the engine please.

Hope this does sell I'd be chuffed to see it in D1.

Not had chance to put this on eBay and so will be doing that today. Therefore if it isn't sold at the end of the week it is coming to pieces.

Thanks for the kind comments chaps...
