A couple of reasons for posting this.
1) It gives those of you who have never ventured to Teeside the opportunity to see the 2 tracks, the MAIN and the WEST track. This day was run by Flatout Factory with Low Numbers for Maximum Seat Time.
2) Fairly unique as it shows footcam/pedalcam and various other data elements (Speed/GForces/Drift Angle). Drift Angle is calculated using a DL1 data logger with optional gyro. It uses GPS Heading and the Gyro to estimate the angle. It does a pretty good job although GPS heading can be tricky, especially when going sideways etc. It's pretty accurate on these runs.
The Drifting Style is very much 'old skool' Japanese in so far as no handbrake or clutch kick (well maybe a tiny one to keep it going through the long right). That's mainly as I'm not a drifter as such, I circuit race primarily but do a bit of drifting on the side and this is my preferred mode, maximum speed probably taking precedence of maximum angle. A shoulder injury also means I try and avoid too many tyre changes so no huge smoke.
Car is an S14a with mild tune, standard ECU with 1bar actuator so around 250-260bhp.
