Teesside Drifting into 2012 - NEW YEARS EVE DRIFT DAY!

We have not had any snow. we are not forecast any snow. things do keep freezing ie the track but that don't stop us running karts so wont stop us running cars.

I can imagine a refund would be given if anything like that was too happen!

Not according to the T&C's.
In the event of your cancellation, no refund will be given however a transfer to another day will be allowed provided that at least 7 days notice is recieved.
In the event of a cancellation less than 7 days before the event, NO refund or transfer will be given.

Oh wells. It was just a guess considering its something weather wise that can't be avoided at times. I don't know - And I ain't seen the T&C's so wouldn't know as much as that (Considering I ain't booking up).

which is perfectly reasonable IMO!!!

so if it snows the day before and we cant get there we lose out?

Yep, according to T&C's, unless the track is cancelled. Thats why I'll prob be paying on the day if I can.
Last couple of year, they has been over a foot of snow overnight at mine.

ThereS alot of winging on this thread! If it snows it snows, it's not there fault and as far as I can see they will allow you the next time on track ??

Personally the way these last to thread have went I wouldn't be surprised if Jen told u's all to do one!!

It's the cheapest and best track with in 150 miles to me and personally if I lost 60 quid cause of weather it's still less of a loss in fuel just to drive to another venue to drift some cones! If ya wanna pay on the day then day on the day but can we let this shite stop..!

Aint no whinging, just ppl asking the crack. Which T&C's have you been looking at?
As it clearly states no refund or transfer to another date if you cancel with less than 7 days notice.
£60 might be nothing to you, but its alot to me, and no doubt many others, hence why it will prob be pay on day for me.

Any tyre changing or am I wasting my breath asking? Lol

Supposed to be, but if not ask Jeff as he went to a place last drift day and got em changed for £5 a rim.
They also open on NYE.

Well point made by ricey

No refund "if you cancel", if the track cancel because of weather then it goes to another day, fair enough i'd say.
I'm sure it wont run if nobody can get there.

I drove up to Crail which is a 350mile round trip, with the trailer last November (in the very very bad snow), still had an good time. Teesside is awesome and the closest place by far, therefore I dont mind paying that bit extra either.

Cant wait, just need to fix the damn vehicle, again.

That to me sounds lik if the track has to cancel they will be willing to sort out the next day for people paid,
Its not the tracks fault if people from further a field lik Scotland etc are snowed in and that's not ment nasty in anyway but if they are willing to sort out next time

Also its not 60 quid for me it's 60 track 60 for a trailer 40 quid for fuel in tow vehicle 40 fuel for car
So I've had to book track and trailer in advance so if it does get canceled I'm 120 quid down which I'm sorry is a lot of money 5 days after Xmas but I think your missing my point! It's still cheaper then other venues

That is NOT what ppl have asked, read there posts again. People have asked what happens if the "customer" cancels with less than 7 days notice. Simple answer according to T&C's, they lose £60.

AND?? It's a business! What do u expect? What if 75% of people cancel 2 days or a day before? That could have been a full karting day lost, your telling me you or any one else think that's unreasonable?

Never said it was unreasonable, read my posts again please. I just quoted the T&C's to answer someones question.

I'm letting this go, it's getting repetitive now and obviously getting no where

I just hope all this doesn't effect the venue in the future lik it was a couple of time in the last few years

its a forum, which are used for discussions, so i thought i'd ask some questions, so keep your hair on mate, only person here winging is you. i was just making sure i got my facts right. i'm not in anyway trying to blame teeside for snow, if i cant make it i cant make it, just wondering where i stand, no winging at all.
thanks for clearing that up john.
i'm sure it wont affect the venue at all, as the people asking the questions have already paid!
i'm looking forward to a great day.
