Teesside learning curve

Really impressed with the track, first proper skid day and learnt a hell of a lot, video starts in a time line through the day so first videos are right at the beginning. Had to finish it with a burnout didn't I!

Going to book on the next day there which should be full (national) track and teach myself entries without using the hydro as i'm massively jealous when I watch videos of flicky entries!

Cheers!

im from teesside so track int to far for me did you just go on and do a few laps? how much did it cost to go on track? thanks kane

Would really recommend it man, day was £60 and surface was kind to tyres. Reckon I probably did over 30 runs and i was taking it steady (there was karting on the other track) so spent some time watching and perving the nice metal that was there! The day booked up real fast as far as i'm aware, teesside drifting on facebook is where they're all announced/booked through.

yeah i joined that page last night.. got me and a mate going to do it.. i was going to get a mx5 but doing a bit of research and its looking more to a 325 now.. what are you running?

i was thinking 318 and weld the diff.. (save fuel) lol

Ah good stuff, mine's a 328 but there were quite a few mx5's there, most looking fairly standard ish apart from one which was running a 1uz lexus v8 haha

Well done James things coming on well for you. Thanks again for taking young Tom out after mine died :-( & also the help loading up for my early departure. Will see you at the next one!

I liked how utterly filthy your car was on Sunday mate haha.
I was one of those in an mx5 and to the guy considering getting one, a crappy old 1.6 mx5 is perfectly capable of linking up that entire track at Teesside, even I managed it a couple of times and it was my first go!

Stop inspiring me to spend lots of money on my car when I should be saving for a house!! lol

Definitely looked to be getting the hang of it, especially towards the end
