Tein and Defi price increases for 2009

Just a quick heads up to let you know that due to the crazy global exchange rates we're seeing at the moment, all Tein prices will be increasing after Xmas.

To give an idea of the level of increase, here's a sample of the S13 200SX prices including VAT:

Basic Dampers
old price - £505
new price - £678.50

Super Street with Uppermounts
old price - £815
new price - £966

Super Drift
old price - £1035
new price - £1265

Mono Flex
old price - £1160
new price - £1564


Rods and ends are increasing from £141 for a pair to £161
 
yeah, in terms of value for money we've always been really good compared to the bigger brands with their MASSIVE marketing budgets, this just increases that margin by quite a lot more.
I can see all of the Jap based brands putting their prices up by similar amounts in the new year. In August you got over 210 Yen for your pound, at the moment it's more like 130 Yen to the pound :wack:


This Tein increase will also affect all Defi prices.

How does this affect your relationship with (Australian?) HSD? Is the AUD worth more compared to our GBP too?
 
HSD are from South Korea and we have some agreements in place to mean that we shouldn't be too hard hit ourselves :)
 
So if I was to order a set of tein rod ends on christmas day would I beat the price increase? :D
 
Well I know I won't be spending my Christmas morning updating the prices in the shop :wack: :p

We'll be changing the prices before we leave today.
 
damn, lol. Should have asked to have my vouchers before christmas assuming anybody got me any. That was all I asked santa for. :thumbs:
