This was Originaly the 'Forza 3 Demo - What do you think?' thread, but as Shopto.net started to post copies today, i edited accordinly. Post your views on Forza, also share some photos, Car Specs and general banter, I don't have much to say yet as i don't have the game :smash:

But I'm sure the cars/drifting is shit hot. I know Corey has it, So i'm expecting this his name to pop up a few times in this thread.

Oh man, that video looks epic. One of my main gripes with Forza 2 was that they got rid of the mountain road track from the first game.

James, I appreciate you're an enormous xbox fanboy so you're not going to take this on board, but while I do think the graphics from Forza look awesome, I think that GT5 has a fairly clear edge. Time will tell (and christ knows how much time at that) whether the gameplay will be comparable, but I think to say that the graphics from Forza are better than the GT graphics is kinda kidding yourself.

Damnnnn i was speaking with some of the BLJK people in game the other day but they mentioned nothing about this vid :D....i will have to get in a game with them later again...

i will probally have full game by next week just to rub it in too :)

I ditched my 360 in a fit of hatred after having 3 die on me, and went over to the PS3 side. But Forza 3 has actually made me almost tempted to get another 360. It's shaping up to be a contender to GT's crown.

This is literally going to take an enormous shit right in the faces of the people who made NFS:Shift such a shitty abortion of a game.

Xbox's always break, thats the problem

I thought GT5 looked amazing, yes the Graphics are very good, but the Damage on GT5P Ruined my views for it, sadly. I nearly bought a PS3 for it

No damage to the cars shape? Just bumpers "Hanging" off and doors open, thats what sadly ruined it :(

I don't want to get into a debate about GT vs Forza since IMO both are good games. To me the important thing is not so much visible damage as it is damage which has a realistic impact on the car itself. I don't think the video shows what impact the damage has on the handling or performance of the car so at the moment I don't think I'm going to judge GT on that basis.

All I'm saying is that the graphics on GT5 are really pant-wettingly nice and though the Forza graphics are also lovely, I don't think they're quite up there. Not that it's going to ruin the game for me at all, because it's way more important that you get a really good racing experience. Since neither game is out in its full version, I don't think it's possible to draw conclusions.

Edited to add - as someone else pointed out on another thread, that GT5 damage video is clearly an early build of the game since it has some clipping issues and the in-car shots are lacking some of the driver animation you get in GT5P

Yes i agree with you, I found Forza 3's graphics not overly-gobsmacking as they were made out to be, but the track is a very dark track, we'll have to see what they are like on a nice sunny day on a bright track, But that means waiting til' October 23rd, but judging from this video "Click the HD BUTTON!!!" it looks sexual.

Them shots aren't from the Demo btw, they are from the Full Game, the lucky sods from ProjectBLKJ get to play it for videos etc.
