I'm getting a van for work, so this is no longer needed.
It needs a few things doing to it, but the price will reflect this.
1998 R reg E39 Touring 525 TDSE diseasel. It's got 206k miles on it, and has been owned by Mitto, Bon, myself and I believe Stav may have owned it for a bit too.
Currently has the spare wheel on, as the tyre had a blowout earlier this week. I think the bushes need looking at at the back, possibly a wheelbearing or two, and it needs a proper good service. There are some electrical gremlins with regard to the rear lights, and the ABS/traction control sensor needs changing (it turns itself off when its wet out). She's a bit smokey on startup too. Lastly the paint isn't amazing.
That said, it has reguarly carried me 1600-2000 miles a week, commuting to various sites up and down the country, and Gloucester and back every night.
It regularly gives me 560 miles to a tank of juice. It's SUPER comfortable. I did 1500 miles in 48 hours a few weeks ago and felt fine at the end of it. It comes on some nice alloys, tinted rear windows, has a Parrot CK3100 hands free kit and some firmer suspension. I think it looks fantastic. Oh, and angel eye front lights which are quite sought after. I'd keep it, but it has no purpose with my new tax-efficient van turning up soon.
It is MOT'd until November some time, and has tax until the end of April.
A good service and some bits and bobs and this will carry on working for another 50k miles easily.
£1500ono.
