Alright team?
For those that don't know me, I'm John (Marcar) one of the Media Team at Driftworks HQ responsible for a large proportion of what goes out onto our social media channels. After a little chat in the office last week (other companies might call it a meeting), we collectively decided that our social channels (mainly Instagram and FB) lack slightly in "cool shots of actual drifting..." Now that may seem bizarre, but we as a team are often so caught up (when attending events) with driving, spannering, general car tinkering, filming, eating bacon, talking about boobs, consuming dangerous amounts of coffee, and, insulting Rich Starkey that we only get to grab a small collection of shots for ourselves that can be used on our channels.
And so, I've come up with the idea of the The-Super-Mega-Awesome-Driftworks-Social-Media-Photography-Thread! (Imagine if you will please, the sound of multiple claxons, gun shots and rapturous applause.)
The idea of this thread is to promote the fact that we (the Driftworks community - that's you/us/everyone reading this!) collectively have SHITLOADS of amazing photographers + videographers here on the forum and we would like to share the love by showing your photos to the world through our channels. So, if you have images that you think deserve to be seen by the entire universe - share them here in this thread! You can upload as many as you like whenever you like making this a mega photo thread.
We, of course, want to credit you for your work so if you have an Instagram account or a photography page on FB then includes the handles with your post. I can't promise we'll be sharing every image, but the ones that really impress us will definitely make an appearance.
