Hi all

I'm going to be doing my first drift day at a novice event. Its at Three sisters in Wigan, i was wondering if anyone on here will be attending?

If anyone is attending i would love some seat time next to a fluent drifter.

Also my car is an s14 but with no modifications to the steering system. I have only bought rack spacers and not messed with the diff.

You've probably seen this (further down in this forum section) but it will give you an idea of the layout(s). Not sure if they will open up the long track on a novice day but they may well do.

Mine (in video) is also an S14, has Tein spacers but nothing extreme steering wise, my style is somewhat old school, no handbrake/clutch kick, all momentum/feint stuff.

It does have a welded diff, well worth doing IMO, car is still very drivable on the road and i've not found any excessive tyre wear issues.

no need for lock mods. a welded diff is pretty much essential. your car probably has a factory LSD but it'll be worn out by now

I'm wanting to take the welded diff out my 14 and return to the stock one if you want to swap?

as a side note. if you've never done a skid before then a e36 is a great way of saving a 14 from death lol

Well I'm only the second owner and the car has just hit 90k now. Was owned by a family from new so i doubt the diff has seen much abuse but i would consider swapping mine for a welder.

And if i think I'm killing the s14 I'll just share my bro's e36 missile haha
