What Competitions can under 18s compete cause ive nearly sorted my self out with my skid car and thinking of competing

Any of them providing you've got a driving licence. You must then get a drift comp licence.

Kay, it's not just a case of getting something rwd then competing. The car will need to be upto the safety spec of the championship and I think JDM is the only championship with under 17s so if you are the prodigy of all that is drift, get to some practice days and get noticed being amazing :thumbs:

If that happens you will struggle competing in a pretty stock volvo 340 unless you have super powers

Hmmm... If your expecting to buy a volvo and rock up to competitions with fuck all experience and not have them laugh you off the property then your living on another planet mate.... Im 22, ive been drifting for six months, and im no where near good enough to compete in anything, what makes you think you are?
 
I've been drifting over 3 years and i still suck and would probably get laughed out of a competition :wack: enjoy drifting for what it is, dont try and become some hero in a volvo because its been done before but i dont believe it can be done again the way competitions are now! If you dont have a driving license and kind parents you're even less likely to get anywhere!

Go and do some fun skids and dont worry yourself with competing until you are ready :thumbs:
 
He's the best young drifter though, his Sig says so, so its fact. McKeever doesnt even use DW so obviously he isnt as good, lol.
 
So you dont have a drift car. Or a license? But you have drifted, but not at a practice day? what are you trying to tell us here? And by the way, Need for speed doesnt count!
 
how old actualy are you? doesn't sound like youve looked into the whole competion thing. would imagine it's a bit dificult in a £400 volvo though.
 
Bloody hell calm down you lot! The young lad is after some information, if he's misguided it's because he doesn't know how it all works yet. Who knew all the harsh realities of things at 15?

Probably didnt help he turned up with a sig telling people he was the best young drifter evvvvarrrrr without ever having drifted....

step 1. dont try and use sarcasm on driftworks it wont get you nowhere if your not known.

and know you have to really fecking lucky to drift in the uk without a drivers lisence.

duane mckeever is allowed because he is very fecking good. dont know how he done it but its takes alot of effort im guessing.
