Tow strap e36

How have yous attached your tow strap to the front of your car?
It is a weird thread on the tow hook so chances of finding a suitable bolt are pretty slim.
Any suggestions appreciated!

bolt it either to the bumper bar or the bumper suspension bit.

or buy the cheap chinese tow eye off ebay and just use the threaded bit to make whatever you need.

I've put mine on the bumper plate , took the big bolt out and popped the tow strap on then just cut a hole big enough in the bumper for it to pop through , sorry about the pic only one I have at the moment .

Done this also and works and looks spot on.

I want the kind that screws in where the tow eye goes, for my E39.
