Toyota carina 1600cc (old skool)

1980 1600cc Carina. The car is in bronze with around 48000 on the clock. Looking for £650, has tax till end of september and Mot till March 2009, car was previously owned by elderly couple from new and passed on to family decorator when husband died, decorator kept it garaged at the elderly persons house until the lady died and couldn't be kept there anymore, so had to be sold. Car was used to run into local town to collect pension!!... My girlfriend has driven it for a few months but doesn't get on with the lack of power steering..... yes it is rear wheel drive!

Shit, if only I had time space and money. Get it on eGay, the toyota enthusiasts club will be battling some Irish for it and you'll get good monies.

Is it a manual, whats it like on fuel, and is there any rust?

Information I've been given.........
It is a manual, I'm told by my girlfriend it'll do around 330miles on a full tank. Being old yes it has rust, some on front under bumper in corner and spots on a couple of wheel arches though seem solid and some in boot. Cars only up for £650 as we want it gone so we can get her a newer car with power steering, If we had more time it would be up for far more which we're sure it would fetch.
 
The car is a 4 speed, my girlfriend works on an industrial estate so it has been used on street and dual carrige ways. Apparently reaches and maintains national speed limit without any problem with its 4 speed!

Seen car in the metal, very clean and would be a great retro drifter.
Has huge amount of space under the bonnet for the spare CA18DET or SR to go into.

What you planning on getting for her now?

Hello mate, u back? She's up for £650. Yeah I saw the laurel:cry: damn I miss it sooooo bad still, she may be a whore but god was she a good whore!!! plus need the longchamps off it!!!!
