Up for sale i have my 1992 Toyota Hilux Surf 2.4TD.
The vehicle comes with 12 months MOT and 6 months tax, mileage is about 114,000 but shows in km, speedo has been changed to show mph though.
It has no overheating problems and starts first time everytime.
It has had some work done on it, new idler arm bushes, replacement fuel pump and retuning, new tyres, new back exhaust, new battery, and tow-bar fitted. It had a new timing belt at 64000 miles (checked when the water pump was fitted) and regular oil and filter changes.It has also had gas shock absorbers fitted at the front, and I have that Australian workshop (Max Ellery) manual to go with it (a proper manual far better than Haines) . It has a heater to enable it to run on cooking oil which it does without problem although it much prefers bio-diesel.
The electric tail glass will only open from the switch inside, however it can also be closed, using the key, from outside. Everything else works
The seats and carpets have always been covered and are clean and un-damaged. There is very little surface rust all of which has resulted from the previous owners habit of using straps to hold things to the roof. (he seems to have hooked them into the door reveals then shut the doors on them!) The chassis is almost like new paint undamaged. The previous owner unfortunately backed into a tractor and dented the tail gate low down on the near side, also chipped the near side rear lens. It is very small damage. There are also small marks on the plastic wheel arches where a tree jumped out at me, they are only cosmetic.
