Hello everyone,

So i thought i will make a thread for my new project which i have picked up around 2 months ago. I think some of you may have seen it up for sale on ebay as it have been there for a long time :) Previous owner was building this car for track so there is not much that has to be done so its drift ready :)

Spec of the car when i bought it;
1997 Toyota Soarer 1jz non vvti
W58 manual conversion
Fully caged FIA approved
Bucket seats and 3inch 6 point harness(FIA approved)
Sparco steering wheel
Racing wide Mirror
Electrical kill switch and Extinguisher with nozzles in the interior and engine.

BC Racing Track coilovers brand new with adjustable damper
K sport 8 pot front brake discs and calipers
rear stock brakes with yellow pads
Front mount intercooler
Massive ally radiator
Apexi induction kit
Cartek rain light
Rays Split 18inch wheels wrapped in falken tyres.
Big Oil Cooler
Full vertex body kit

Here is a quick overview video:

Within like a 3 weeks I have found 3 inch stainless steel exhaust from turbos and got installed.

Currently started preping soarer for paint, hopefully this weekend i will get it sprayed.

Also parts are arriving slowly.

IRP hydro with wilwood master
Lock kit from New Zealand should me in few days
Spare wheels and tyres
Bailey blow off valve
444cc 2jz injectors
stock rear spoiler

Probably an Agile Performance kit if I'm guessing right?
Plan to order one for my own in 2018.

It is a full vertex body kit and yes i have picked up Agile Performance kit from new Zealand , making a video on that kit, install and review, received it yesterday :)
 
I have also decided to fully respray my soarer in to gloss black as it looks terrible atm, got fully prepped and it is getting sprayed tonight :)

 
Looking forward to seeing the install video!! Do you have any other modifications for lock? Steering rack spacers, cut lower arms or anything?

Im not going to to remove steering rack stoppers for the moment, if its not enough angle ill add rack spacers and remove stoppers :)
 
Great video dude, good to watch.

The amount of lock looks to be very good, do you know what widths and offsets your front wheels are and what width the tyre is?
Just trying to gauge whether mine will hit the lower arm/anti roll bar with this kit.

Such a shame you had to roll your arches on a freshly painted car, but I'm sure the lock is worth it! :cool:

this is a sweet thread, love the vlog content. body kit is dope too, definitely needs a refresh with some wheels in my opinion

Its even more now, i went for 50mm spacer , 8j et35( i think, ill check tomorrow) wheel, 6mm rack spacers :) i need to edit that video :)

Thanks mate, I am looking for different wheels at the moment as i need to run 8j in the front for the lock.



I have also installed Greddy profec spec b 2 ebc :)

 
Nice find seen it on gumtree it had been on for 30mis at the time .black interior always worth having mine is that horrible grey
 
Not sure to be honest and I live too far to consider it. Are you going to single it and if so what manifold would u use as I'm currently looking for one but all there seems to be is the japspeed one
 
i think i will get custom made manifold as most of them are Chinese crap up for sale.


I have also installed 6mm steering rack spacers today :)
