forgot to mention-if you know your E30s then you would guess the drivers seat is as usual riped and tatty
seams to be the BMW law

You won't sell at that. I bought my e30 318i 2 door, pretty tidy, spax adjustables, bucket seat, and MOT+tax, running order, for £250.

That car is £50-75, sorry pal :( Not trying to be sarcy, neither was caged, just being realistic. If you banged in a £40 318i engine though, and got it taxed, I'm sure you'd get your money back.

so what would u pay for it with a new gasket set cos im a plant fitter so no quarms about doing it but get shitty all day and cant be arsed

i wouldnt buy it anyway, but if you could spend the £20 or whatever on a new headgasket and got it running you should get £100-150 for it, that would strike me as a good deal.

i wouldnt pay anything for it, id never buy a 316

i imagine WITH a gasket set inc you could ask 80 quid.

fit it and you can 100-200

i doubt you sell as is, especially on here they dont have the power to pull my foreskin back let alone drift

not being sarky mate, just honest

Actually as an alternative to a 1.4 volvo or general daily tool it would be fine :) 80-90bhp or thereabouts, only weigh about 1050kgs. If you need a cheap runabout, as someone on here was asking for, then this would be great :)

Actually having owned a 316 as a run round for a while I think you'll find that they aren't that bad.
Simple to diff up in the wet with, can do dry if your brave (or like me don't care about the car). I would be willing to bet that they are as good as any 1.4 or even 1.7 Volvo.
Mine was the 1st e30 316 so it was a 1.8 carb.

Not fast no but not so slow it sucked.
