Transit Transporter 2.5 5speed 9G' Reg

Drives on a car license (no tow license required!)

12months MOT & Tax end of Jan 2010

  • Alloys Ramps
  • Steel bed 14.5ft (from ramps holders to back
  • Awesome winch & remote cable
  • 2 Spare Tyres (not fitted so not 100% sure of condition but loads of tread)
  • Flashing Light & Working Lamps
  • Assortment of Straps & rachets

Van weighs 2080 kg unloaded. Gross weight is 3500 kg
No power steering - but I didnt have any problem even when loaded with the Passat.

Its had a fair bit of welding done for the MOT and I cant find anything that doesnt work on it.

I collected this Transit on saturday from Norwich, loaded my Passat TDi and drove it back to Kent @ 60mph with no issues. The problem is I didn't check the angle of the beaver tail properly and my newly lowered Sil80 wont go on the back :smash:

£1500 ono - quick sale wanted so will consider offers. I want some 18" Rota wheels if anyone has some as part-ex. I have a daily driver so dont want another and I have a skid car so dont want another

Truck is located in Ashford, Kent

Sorry to hear that bud, is a shame as its a fookin good truck, never let me down in the time i had it. Can ya not adapt the bed to suit?

free bump for a good solid van:thumbs:

Had a couple of PM's about this - no dibs sorry, first to hand over £1250 takes it away. It wont be sold for less I will just keep it otherwise.

so if its just a case of your car is to low why not do what i done and buy some metal some alloy and make some nice long ramps 4 hours work and job done

LOL some people are mechanically and practically skilled some are not! Its a G reg truck that is good and solid and I have no intention of cutting the thing about myself , and \i also am not willing to pay someone else a few hundred quid to do it - especially when I can borrow SVA's low loading truck

think he ment make ya skids longer and put a small raised section in them to make them allow low cars on.

free bump dude

its not getting the car on thats the problem fellas. take a look at the angle of the beavertail - now imagine a lowered to the deck car and trace a line between the front wheels and the rear - now see the problem!

Unless I chock/raise the back wheels up then it get stuck in the middle :) I'm not to fussed, if it doesnt sell I will keep it.
