Wanted transmission input shaft S13 SR20 engine

hello:dw: community, my name is martin and the input shaft of my 180 went hot. Now the spikes of the input shaft became really sharp wich causes serious noise.

Thats why I need a used one. (good working condition)

hope somebody can help me out with this mess nissan wants 300 pounds and thats for the S14 SR20 input shaft wich im not even sure if it would fit.:(
 
problem is im from germany... bought my 180 from the UK. we dont have SR20 S13 gearboxes here. And ive already bought the other parts that broke such as syncro-ring and bearings.
 
a friend of mine has an sr20 box which has broken synchros. he might be interested in breaking it down and selling the shaft, but its not exactly easy to post.
 
well shipping is not really a problem. I ve already bought a strut bar from Ireland. The input shaft is a third of that size it would easily fit into a shoe box. Please ask him if he has any interest in selling. Of course i will pay the postage.

But chances are that the input shaft might be damaged 2 if synchros are broken. Just like it happend to me .... well it was more the bearing that f***ed everything up.
 
If hes interested we can have a good look at them. He has a few as i remember. Ideally a perfect one is obvious, but if its a toss up between price..
 
yeah just ask him..... dunno how much he wants for it since is listed high brand new..... do you maybe know what year your mates car has been built. Ive checked the part numbers and the input shaft part number from the preface,facelift s13 differs with the kouki one.... but i think that there is only a difference in the counterpart of the input shaft.
 
I am said friend and would be happy to pull the box apart for you. It was the selector fork that gave up on the box meaning no 5th and reverse but box wasnt driven long in this condition so input should be ok.
