Tubed front end and the dreaded mot.

hi all I’ve had a mixed answers to the dreaded “will it pass a mot with a tubed front” question.

Has anyone managed to get there car through a mot with a tubed front as I’m finding it impossible to find the parts to put mine back to standard.

If anyone has managed to get a pass would you mind sharing a few pictures.

Thanks in advance
Jay

Just what I wanted to hear.

Just wondering what thickness steel you used.
I’ve seen some made with really thin stuff.

Yours looks spot on.

Also does the engine get covered with road grime with half the front arches missing.
Thanks for the reply

I've used 1 3/4 2.6mm cds tube for the main frame and the bumper is 1 1/2 3mm cds it's not going anywhere in an accident haha, I personally haven't driven it much on the road as I don't like driving it as it's an animal haha, but I went out in the snow the other day and went to work a few times as my daily snapped the cambelt and it drove still looks the same as it does in the pics, but I know people who daily there car with no arch linors and they get filthy haha
