if I get a turbo diesel as a run about, can I just up the boost like I would on a petrol car with a dawes device or similar?

urmmm i think you can but only a small amount as diesels work on compression....

if your getting a diesel shitter then dont do anything to it! you cant polish a turd!! lol! just relish the MPG for work etc.. it will always be slow!! i drive a 106 DIEsel to work :dermal: DERMAL!! but i know the 32 is sitting at home :smitten: so its ok

lol, yeah. I'm looking at a 2.5td Ford:wack: Scorpio Ultima:wack: 216lb.ft standard, ugly as sin, but very well specced and super cheap cos for some reason noone wants them...... oh yeah, it's cos they're ugly:wack: Can still pick up a very tidy one for under a grand. Did I say they were ugly?

Gary at APT would be able to give you loads of advice.

cheers guys, I'm not after making it super rapid, just wondering if I can make a noticeable difference for the cost of a £40 dawes device :p

Yup, up the boose. Ninjasx on the SXOC took me for a spin in his when he upped the boost to around 20psi, it just flies!
