Turbo fucking gaskets

I'm thinking of getting my turbo welded to my tubular manifold as I'm so tired of having to change them!!
Literally only did my gaskets about 2 weeks ago and it's gone again. The locking tabs and exhaust paste on the threads have not done too good of a job!

Any advice on this please? Where can I get it done? Has any one done it? Thanks

it has been done, and tbh i dont think its a bad idea at all

end of the day what other reason are you going to ever need to seperate the manifold to turbo unless its dead/your changing it, in which case, £10 just get a new manifold.

i say go for it!

Sounds like the flanges arn't flat, get both matting surfaces skimmed. Two nuts on each stud and locking tabs.

Haha well I don't have the ground clearance to
Spare incase the flexi sags so that's a no no for me.

Anyone able to do it? I want a permanent solution as apposed to the 'correct' solution.

Tubular manifolds aint exactly a tenner tho!

What I did was use locking tabs, metal locking nuts, and popped a spot of weld on the outside of the nuts to join them to the turbo/manifold/elbow or whatever. Worked a treat, and if you need to change any of it, you can just tap the spot weld off with a chisel

Locking tabs, locking nuts, loctite, and make sure it's all off the car when doing it back up, to make sure you can get the proper weight on the right nuts.
