hey everybody, my names Brad, I'm 19 years old, from the states, and about a month ago I purchased a 1990 mazda miata from one of my friends

and in just under a week I managed to put it right through a mailbox and am now facing a reckless op charge

not too bad, learned my lesson to keep drifting on the track though...

anyways, after a few weeks of debating if I wanted to sell the car or not I've decided to keep it. So let the drift build begin.

The goal here is a 1.6 turbo drift miata without breaking my bank account :smokin:

Plans - (order of importance)

*megasquirt ecu (ordering tonight or tomorrow)
*have a weapon r air intake thats going in tomorrow
*straight pipe from the cat for now
*coilovers
*various turbo parts (probably not ebay parts but no promises)
*paint
*wheels
*drift drift drift

using this thread to document my build all support, suggestions, and advice welcome

Needs an adaptor for the afm but it should be here today so.

Also ordered the mega squirt diypnp and some nice new rx8 fuel injectors

Oh yeah and a lot of stickers

Piping I bought caused a huge vaccum leak so rocking the stock tubing for now

Getting closer to boost everyday

Decided to go with a wrx td04 turbo

Any idea where I can get a custom manifold / dp?? I emailed begi and Abe at artery but am open to anything

Edit :
found a kid in the uk to make me a custom manifold and dp

Shopping list for right now

- inter cooler / piping
- bov
- gauge panel and gauges
- wideband o2 sensor

Manifold is gonna take 2-3 weeks to be finished so I'm hoping to have all my parts in place so when get the manifold I can bolt it all in and go
