Tyres at lydden hill 27th sept

Hi guys, messages will at mobile tyres, apparently he's not doing drift days?

Who is covering this weekend as I will need some tyres for the mx5!

The guys at lydden are now doing the tyres, i dont have many details on it at the moment, i will be there this weekend to see what happens though
 
I've called them up, as you say the guys at the track will be doing it.

I asked about tyres and 'they have some' but didn't say what size or how many, and I couldn't 'reserve' tyres.

We'll see what happens on the day, I just hope there is at least an airline lol.
 
Seems the tyre service was pretty decent.
Airlines, Bead blaster, two machines, few guys on the tools and a large stock.
 
Was very well done I thought.

They did have a bit of trouble trying to stretch on a pair of tyres for someone, had the whole bunch trying multiple times to blast it up.

Fair enough if it's all they had to offer the guy but if he supplied them it would have been a bit daft as it held everyone up.
 
Oops that was probably me.
I didn't know they were struggling tbf, I just left a pair of wheels and asked for the same size part worns from their pile.
When I came back they said they'd had a mare and tried various tyres.
I tried myself with fire but this particular pair of wheels are a son bitch due to the well design on them so I give up as well.
 
Haha! At least it wasn't some bloody scene queen getting stretched ones put on.

That shows they covered it well, it was good of them to keep trying, anyone else would have said fuck it they don't fit.
