Hi All
Been looking around and since I couldn't find anything except US forums, is there a UK forum for people with a JZX chassis car?

If they are specific, JZX100 please!

Thanks
Joe

Just to follow on from Swampys post, SoarerUnion has quite a few JZX owners, so much that they have their own sub group called JZXNation.
Free to join and even have free stickers!
Soarer Union and JZX Nation

JZX100.com is the internets largest forum, but thats mostly aussies on there, but there are a few UK owners as well

Yeah Iv had a licecne for years and would agree, the one time I needed vB help, they couldnt really assist. I'll have a scan at that software cheers man. :)

Mint, has your forum got a for sale section? Are there many for sale in the UK? Unsure if they will suit my needs as a B-Road/Track car. Not planning on doing much drifting going forward.

Don't know if one of these would work or I should look into E46 M3's or E39 M5's

It does, and not many. But the odd few are kicking about, Id get one man.. There friken boss for daily imo :D

I just don't know if they would be too heavy for my needs, that and the interior is barking (seats/trim that is).... I've been spoiled with my 10 plate Mazda 6 LOL

This would need to be a daily/family car. The missus will take the Estate bus and let me get something decent.

Well mine is fairly expensive on fuel. So as a daily I dunno if it would be very wise lol. I dont buy cars on what they look like standard.. seems stupid considering most cars standard look shit imo. What the OEM seats look like shouldnt be a reason to put you off haha (Just so you know, the OEM seat feels sooooo much better than OEM seats from other cars, such as the MX, Jazz, civic, Clio etc etc). The JZX is an epic platform, feels great on the motorway, track, back roads and that 1JZ sounds sooooo nice. Do you mean too heavy as in the actual kerb weight?

Maybe get an auto for daily use?

No chance I'd want an Auto especially if I want to do Knocky, tracks down south or europe. Yeah thats what I mean. I'd love an R32 GTR, but a Daily is couldn't be. They 'feel' light, I'm curious to know if the JZX is like that or is hard to detract from the size.

I like the exterior looks, you know me, I like subtle. Inside the seat/door trim is bad, I'd need to change front seats and re trim rears to be 100% happy with it. I've changed in what I like these days, some people would say I'm getting old LOL. They don't look supportive in the slightest too, so fronts would need a swap regardless. I will assume they don't have ISO fix points in the rear, I don't think they are new enough for that.

With a possible career change and my work being withing 5 miles of my house fuel shouldnt be an issue soon enough, no more 50miles a day crap hence why I'm looking at some decent metal as I can cycle when its nice and drive when its shit.

When you said daily, I assumed 50 mile round trip lol. Thats ace though, id cycle to work if I could. Id also drive my JZX every day, If I was a millionaire haha.

The JZX100 is very well built, and so far reliable car for the job compared to alot more. So its up to you, the car feels heavy as its a big massive 4 door toyota barge (its longer than a GS300/is200), but it doesnt feel it when its going.. its fucking rapid out the box imo. I'll be running .9 bar and that should see me around 300hp I think.

They drift pretty spot on too, the weight really makes it like slow motion on transition.
