Undersealing

Just wanted to ask a bit of advice I am buying a Toyota chaser from torque GT they under seal the underside as per the norm but they have offered me the extra of door skins/boot and bonnet skins and also box section sealing.
My question is is it worth having this extra bit done I’m worried that doing this may stop the water naturally tracking and running off the car as it should and does having skins sealed stop the metal breathing??
I’m only using the car as a summer toy dry weather use but will of course wash the car etc etc

Box section sealing sounds like it might be more worth it, doing the door skins and bonnet skins does sound like it might cause problems as you've said.

Often when the bottom of doors rot out it's because they don't drain water effectively and hold it inside.

That’s what I was thinking about the door/boot/bonnet skins it will just collect up,
My dads got a mk1 mx5 that’s had a full underseal and cavity treatment he had to drain out his box sections last year as they filled up with water. I think I’ve kinda answered my question here and just leave it unless someone else says a good reason to have it done

2004 uk car, panel box section without sealing.

If the car is kept dry, it might never get to this.

And there is no point of sealing untop of this. But if it's dry and good, I Think It's worth it.

Not so sure about door, hood skins etc.

Just went for the standard undersealing in the end, I won’t be using the car in the wet as it’s a summer toy so I will take the risk weather it’s good inside the box sections
