Vauxhall Carlton GSI 3000 24v

Carpe Diem

Supra 3.0
My K reg Carlton GSI 3000 24v is up for sale, I'm moving on to broader horizons and need a car i'm not going to worry about crashing. Anyway...

166430 miles
MOT till Oct 2007
I'll be putting 6 months tax on it next month

Good stuff:
The previous owner changed the interior for a fresher example just before i bought it.
Oil's been changed every 3000 miles.
It's got a full stainless exhaust system with decat pipes(i've still got the cats)
Autobahnstormers club chip
Strengthened chains and some mild head work

Bad bits:
A few spots of rust above the rear windscreen,
on the bottom of passenger side doors and
above the lock on the boot.
The dual ram isn't working (at present it's disabled so is just running wide open for max power, Gives you a nice shove in the back at 4k rpm but means slightly less torque low down. I've looked into the problem and it's not an expensive fix but i have to admit i prefer it the way it is.)
A/c doesn't work but i think thats common with these

Other than that my minds gone blank.

On with the pics.

Lovely Carlton mate,Had one before and sold it to buy an mv6 wish I hadnt was sharper in 2nd gear than the v6.
Would def have been interested if hadnt invested in the 180.

Great cars very easy to diff up, if I hadn't have bought mine it would be exactly the sort of car I would go for. In fact I hunted for a halfish manual one before getting mine.

Good luck with the sale, I hope it stays on DW.

It does diff up pretty good. I love it to bits but really don't wanna learn to drift in this as it used to owned by my best mate then his dad. Considering the amount of money and time they've lavished on it i couldn't show my face round there house if i stuffed it into a hedge... Not that i ever participate in streeto, Officer. :wack:

Damn it. I was looking for a decent GSI before I bought my Omega. :wack:

Looks lovely mate, good luck with the sale.

PM sent.

Cheers Peach, i've had the same sort of luck with cars too, i bought the GSI then a week later a mint S13 came up for a bargain price.. Oh well
