**Selling on behalf of a friend** (peddyp on here)

Hi. For sale I have my Extremely Rare MANUAL Omega. Its the special 3.0 MV6 engine which is more refined and powerful than the 3.2 with 208bhp as standard. Sitting nicely on staggered AC's 235/35/19's on the front and 265/35/19's on the back. Lowered roughly 40-50mm (car is exactly how I bought it)
Tyres are all in very good condition and nice deep tread (not been drifted) and the alloys are straight and true with very minor scuffs.

The engine has very recently had both heads skimmed, rebuilt, new coilpack, belts, waterpump, seals etc... Also just had both keys reconditioned so they both work. Remote central locking and remote boot-lid pop.

Drilled & Grooved front disks.
Powerflow exhaust and an induction kit that give a growl to die for!
Very tidy gearbox, smooth changes and no crunches EVER and a good clutch.
ZERO smoke from the exhaust (The engine was running whilst the pictures were taken)

*Economical*

Despite being a 3.0 "Guzzler" it really isn't bad on fuel. My daily commute takes about 20 minutes either way, plus I use it on the weekend to go here n there and I use about £20 a week on fuel.

It has the Irmscher Kit all round with each piece being worth about £150.

Blacked out windows giving a very "Gangster" & Sleek look. Professionally installed PS2 in the boot with a flip down screen in the back and wireless headphones. You can also play DVD's etc. I would imagine you could quite easily change the PS2 for any console of your choice.

Has a very smart looking Manual or remote controlled Clarion Head unit with Aux lead and USB port. The display screen changes to 12 different colours (orange in the Pic)

Please ask for any more details you may require.

Previous owner was some what of a Vauxhall nut (administrator on the Vauxhall forum) and he looked after it very well.

Genuine reason for sale - Bought myself an absolutely Bonkers Turbo Drift Machine :D :D (1979 Mazda with CA18DET)

*Price*

Asking for £1600 and it'll come with fresh 6 months tax and full MOT. I must ask for a £100 deposit to eliminate any time wasters. I must urge potential buyers to come and see it as I doubt you'll be disappointed.

This really is a good example of a very rare car and it's killing me to drop the price but I simply have no need for it now.

**Please bear in mind**

I will Tax and MOT the car if necessary at the expense of the buyer

I'm sure I bid on that car once.

It's cool. I've got a rough 2.5 v6 manual as a back up drifter and I use it sometimes as a daily instead of my e46 330 as it's nice and big and comfy.
A posh one would be nice.

I was initially interested in this but I have to say one thing concerns me. You state it'll fly through an MOT (which, nowadays costs, what, 60 quid?) and list tax for 6 months at £120 and then say that with both of those renewed (£180 as far as I can make out) the price will go up by a thousand pounds! Either it's going to need £800 worth of work to get it through the MOT or you're just trying to rip people off for the effort of a 1 hour MOT. If it really will go through an MOT at the end of the month then great, at 1200 quid it's a bargain, but I can't see anyone feeling very confident about that being the case if you're going to put the price up by 5 times as much as it's actually going to cost you.

How could I possibly be "trying to rip people off" ?? It's not compulsary to buy it?!

I say £2200 with full T&T because that's what it'd be worth. I've been offered that amount in the past but it wasn't up for sale at the time. If I was buying a car with no T&T I'd want it discounted due to the inconveinience of having to do it myself.

I've dropped the price to £1200 as a quick-sale price as it's not being used anymore so might aswell let someone else have it! I personally love the car and I loved all the attention it got whenever I was out and about in it but in all fairness it's just too clean for me.

THIS is more my style...

Rough, rusty n ready :D :D

If you are actually interested in this and not just 'trolling' for the sake of it then come and have a gander!

Very possible that you may have bid on it in the past, I won it on eBay (accidently... don't ask) and apparantly it had sold on there a few times before an exchange was actually done.
How's the 2.5 as a drifter? I literally took this for 1 wet slide to see how it handled and it all went too well so I quite while I was ahead lol.
Apparantly a good trick for these is to get the 2.5 AUTO rear diff as it has a lower ratio so low down torque is upped. I think you'll lose 10-15mph off overall top speed but well worth it for that extra response in the lower regions!

instead of selling with very short test at 1200 why not just test t and put tax on.
then put up for say £1500.
then you will make a couple of extra quid (ok i no its not much) but more people will be interested instead of taking a gamble.

just a tip as it does look a really nice car tbf and i would buy it if i had the spare cash but only with mot at the very least.

I'm not trolling dude, I'm just saying that's one hell of a price hike and, as someone who would be interested in the car, it makes me nervous. I'm not trying to take the piss here, just pointing out my reservations. I think Chris makes a valid point above and, in honesty, I'd be extremely interested at 1500 with a fresh MOT on it. Just not at 2200.

Well when you put it like that it seems reasonable but as I said before I've dropped the price to £1200 as a quicksale price. I've been working 6-6 all week plus Sat & Sundays hence why I've not had time to do anything!

If you are seriously serious about being seriously interested @ £1500 then I'll gladly Tax & Test it but I'd need a deposit to secure the deal. I only ask for a deposit because selling cars is always touch n go until you have the cash in your hand!
Plus you need to come and actually see the car lol

Pedro

Still no interest?! I would've thought this would have sold to a drifter no probs! Its just a clean, simple, RWD, V6 that's just had a full head rebuild so it's ready to go!

Can anyone point something out that may be putting buyers off?

If the "price hike" is confusing people then please let me remind that it's a price DROP not a hike...

Which Vauxhall forum? Have been trying to find it on the ones I know of, so that I can delve into its history :)
(so far only tried MVOC and VXON)

His name is Darren Paul McCartney, so whatever club he is administrator of I guess?! I didn't really hang round to chat much but he seemed rather full of Vauxhall knowledge and he almost made my head explode with engine codes, part numbers, Irmscher this, big alloys that...

This is all the paperwork I currently have, all the rest is in the car which includes receipts for all the recent work carried out...

I still can't understand why this car doesn't appeal to the drift scene?!
