Ok this is a pretty well known lo-lo (although is actually a hopper), probably one of the best in the UK although been off the road now for a while. Needs a bit of TLC but is a totally awesome show stopping jaw dropping bird knobbin kick arse motor!
Still interested? Car is located in Suffolk, guide price of £3300 but may consider a swap or p/x with cash my way (I got nothing left to give out). The car is easily worth £4K+ if I was to break it but that aint my style, and an absoloute shit load more taxed and tested!! *The juice to buy new alone would cost you around £3k+ to have it moving this fast!!!
1979 cutlass calais... or cutty to those in the know
decent replacement 5.7l (350ci) V8 (originally a 4l straight 6)
Recon TH350 box
10 bolt rear axle
G-Body, pretty much the most lo-ridered car in the world
Modifications include....
Best of the best HUGE 4 Pumper, chrome Pro Hopper system (big valvers so 5/8s I believe)
Adjustable slowdowns
36V... 6 BIG battery system (554's)
Chassis fully wrapped (plated in 1/4" steel)
Plated and extended front lower arms
unbreakable ball joints
chain bridge on rear
14" rear rams mounted on powerballs
8" rams on front... maybe 10" WITH hopping coils
13x7 reverse offset chrome hundred spoke wire wheels with whiteband tyres
Grants chain link steering
Chrome piston gear selector
Crazy amounts of metalflake paint all over it.
Pressed aluminium plates with pressed tru-rydaz car club print
white vinyl roof
the list goes on
No tax/test. Needs a windscreen (cheap as and easy to get hold of)
Rams are a bit sticky as its been sitting a while
A powerball locking collar is broken (£10 from pete dawg @ tru-rydaz)
Interior a bit grubby bearing in mind it's 30 years old and has been sitting for a while but will clean up well.
Plenty o muscle and does the nice dip to one side when you give it the beans! (shows you have a mans engine)
Probably one of the most well known lo's on the scene. Has a fair old following of people, free entry to shows like bugjam etc if you roll with the TRU RYDAZ. A little bit of TLC over a few days will have this pimpin'
Magazine featured a few years back in max power (not a great selling point i know lol)
I bought this last year to rock to some shows in this year but I have 7 cars at present which is getting silly and just haven't had the time (or th dedication) to do much to it, I've done a few bits to it like get the engine working (which it does really well now) and sort out some nasty rats nest wiring and clear the mouldy food out of it.
Has a stack of bills and reciepts and some old hand written mot's. I would really like to see this go to a good home, whoever buys this bad boy will be welcomed into the TRU-RYDAZ car club with open arms (on the condition you arent a chav/plum/etc)
...finally some pix & vids!
