Volvo 340 1.4 To F7P Swap

Hi,
Just wondering I have a volvo 340 drift car but its only a 1.4 would a f7p be a straight swap because i hear you must use 1.7 volvo parts to be a stright swap. sorry i'm new to this but thanks in advance

Hi mate, welcome to driftworks!

If you used the search you would find all the information you need to know. I'm afraid to fit the f7p you would need the bellhousing and subframe from a 1.7 as the 1.4 block is completely different.

I'm not sure what else you would need but its been done many times on here. Good luck

No the volvo does not have a sub frame so you don't need that. The crossmember is the same.

From the 1.7 you need,
bellhousing,
sump,
flywheel and clutch,
engine mounts with brakets (x4)
alternator bracket.

Think that is about it
